Greetings, fellow brothers & sisters from planet Earth. It's Sam Rae here, calling out to you from the windy city of Chicago—well, from a lil' suburb south of Chicago called Frankfort.

It's a bit cringeworthy—the hours I've spent trying to nail down how to best describe who I am, what I do, & how my services help you heal. Life is in constant transformation, as is this astrology venture of mine, so I know this won't be my last crack at a bio. When I daydream about Sow & Reap Astrology, I envision a beautifully ethereal fruit garden—carefully tucked away from the noise of society. The air is clean, the flowers fragrant, the tree branches brimming with both delicious & nutritious fruits. There is soft grass, warm blankets, & comfy benches to sit & speak & giggle. The fresh fruits of the garden feed both our bodies & our souls, symbolizing the rich & tasty fruitfulness of spiritual & psychological transformation. Here's the catch: to access this magical fruit garden, we must open our eyes & take that first step down the garden’s long, winding road—a path paved with bumps of awkward clarity that reflect the wildly vulnerable process of seeing & embodying the Self in its rawest form.

So I'd like you to imagine me as both a fellow traveler on this often lonely road of self-awareness — as well as the pathtender of your unique garden. I'm here to offer an empathetic ear, a cup of tea or maybe a glass of wine, & gentle however honest insight into your Truth in Time. I come equipped with a 'gardening kit' of educational & professional tools, coupled with an organic ability to create a judgment-free space & a willingness to look & laugh (or cry) at that which makes us human.

My kit includes a degree in Astrophysics, a balance of modern & traditional astrology, years of research & practice under a variety of spiritual mentors, & hands-on experience in somatic counseling & other trauma-informed fields of integrative psychotherapy. I wish I had the words to explain, this surprises me because I am normally very good with words. Sam essentially cut to a core that I felt like couldn’t be cut. I first heard of [Sow & Reap Astrology] through a Facebook comment. I have wanted to get my natal chart interpreted for a while but have refrained because of financial reasons. Two stimulus checks later, though, and I finally felt ready! When I first attempted to book a reading with Sam, it did not totally process, so I reached out over email. She responded almost immediately and so sweetly that any nervousness I felt totally dissipated! I was so excited; I could not find anything but glowing, 5-star reviews for Sam and her work––and for good reason. The day of the reading, Sam confirmed our time and was super punctual. I opened our Zoom call up to the cutest astrology Powerpoint I have ever seen in my life––definitely some Taurus aesthetic energy. Anyway, Sam began to explain polarities and axes and nodes both in general and my own natal chart. I have never even begun to understand astrology at the level of depth that Sam does off the top of her head. Though I have felt pretty in tune with my own energies and aptitudes, Sam still shed so much clarity onto certain parts of my life and personality. There are not enough words in the world to describe how amazing Sam and her talents are in a single post. I have been receiving readings from her for 3 years now and every single time I find myself with my jaw on the floor. She has touched on things in my progression readings that I cant believe will happen and sure enough within a years time I find myself relistening to our video and she called it out. So where to start...

I had a very wonderful reading, very much in detail. I could ask all my questions, Sam always answered me right on point. A session with Sam is timeless; she explains and knows so well what she is talking about. I would also like to mention how cautious she is in using her words while explaining.. I booked a reading with Sam on a Thursday I believe...by Sunday she had some awesome chart graphics, and about three and a half hours worth of knowledge about myself, to share with me. It went WAY back... Bringing up these old wounds that I need to deal with to proceed in life...not just wounds though... The potential I have is astounding! I just needed someone to let me know about it, so I can really dive deep into my future and career. It's almost like I've been living in this alternate state of mind, thinking I have no drive or creativity, then she tells me what I should be interested in/doing, and boom 💡 it totally resonated!! She saw things in me (and my past) that I never thought could come to the surface. I have my recordings, which is great, because I'm fairly new at reading my chart. Some of what she said went a little over my head (she's extremely intelligent), but I'm glad, because now when I disect the chart myself, I have our reading to pull up and refer to.
